Report: Sixers Guard Markelle Fultz Returns to Philadelphia to Continue on Shoulder Rehab With Team


Fultz has been undergoing treatment in Los Angeles considering the fact that leaving the Sixers in early December.

Sixers guard Markelle Fultz has returned to Philadelphia to keep on his shoulder rehab with the crew, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski stories.

Fultz, 20, has been going through therapy for thoracic outlet syndrome, a nerve-altering situation, in Los Angeles because leaving the Sixers in early December soon after he was diagnosed. Wojnarowski included that Philadelphia has had staff in California observing Fultz’s development.

Thoracic outlet syndrome is described as a compression of nerves or blood vessels concerning the decrease neck and upper chest, the workforce declared. Fultz’s personal injury resulted in irregular purposeful movement and variety of motion, which affected his capturing form.

While there is no timetable yet on his return to the lineup, Fultz was at the Sixers’ game versus the Thunder on Saturday.

The 2nd-year participant will finish his rehabilitation at the team’s facility to consider to ramp up for an eventual return to the year.

As of December, Fultz was reportedly slated to return “in just an approximate range of three to six months”, for each Wojnarowski.  

Fultz has played in just 33 games since being drafted No. 1 over-all in 2017. The Washington product is averaging 8.2 factors for each sport in 22.5 minutes in 2018-19. 

The Sixers sit at 30–16 going into Saturday afternoon’s clash with Oklahoma Town.
